Fabric Over Foam Gaskets

Leader Tech’s Fabric Over Foam Gaskets provide reliable EMI/RFI shielding using a conductive fabric wrapped around a resilient foam core. These Fabric Shielding Gaskets deliver excellent shielding effectiveness, low compression force, and long-term durability for electronic enclosure, telecommunications, aerospace, and industrial applications.

Our Fabric Over Foam products are engineered to provide superior EMI shielding performance while remaining lightweight, flexible, and cost-effective. Available in a wide range of profile shapes and sizes, these conductive fabric gaskets help maintain signal integrity and reduce electromagnetic interference in demanding electronic environments.

Leader Tech offers both standard and High-Temperature Fabric Over Foam Gaskets to meet a variety of application requirements. Custom profiles and configurations are also available to support unique enclosure designs and shielding challenges.

Dual-Layer Construction: Polyurethane foam core with high-performance fabric

Compression Set: <15% (ASTM D3574)

Recommended Compression: 30-50% of gasket Height

Temperature Range:

  • Standard Fabric Shielding Gaskets: -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C) (ASTM F390)
  • High Temp Fabric Shielding Gaskets: -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C) (ASTM F390)

Surface Resistivity: <0.05 Ω/in²

Flammability Rating: UL94 V0

Shielding Effectiveness: 80 – 115 dB (MIL-DTL-83528C)

Pressure Sensitive Adhesive: Non-Conductive High peel strength & Conductive tack-in place peel strength available

ROHS: Compliant

REACH: Compliant

Shelf Life: If stored properly, product retains its performance and properties fo 24 months from date of manufacture. (It is suggested that products are stored at room temperature conditions of 70°F (21°C) and 50% relative humidity.)
