ML Gasket for Low Profile EMI Shielding Applications
The ML Gasket is a low-profile EMI shielding gasket engineered to provide effective electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection while requiring some of the lowest compression forces available in the industry. Manufactured from resilient beryllium copper, the ML Gasket combines excellent conductivity, durability, and long-term performance for demanding electronic applications.
Designed specifically for small aperture and limited-space installations, the ML Gasket delivers reliable electrical contact while minimizing closure force requirements. This makes it an excellent solution for compact electronic enclosures, telecommunications equipment, defense systems, industrial electronics, and other applications where available compression force is limited.
The low-profile design helps maintain effective shielding across enclosure openings while supporting repeated cycling and long service life. Its spring characteristics allow consistent electrical continuity, reducing EMI leakage and improving overall enclosure performance.
ML Gaskets are available in various plating options and custom lengths to meet application-specific shielding, grounding, environmental, and mechanical requirements.
