Reliable EMI/RFI performance for demanding enclosures and fast-moving electronic systems.
In modern enclosures, performance alone isn’t enough — you need materials that stay stable under mechanical stress, thermal expansion, and changing electrical conditions. TechMESH knitted-wire gaskets are engineered to meet these demands with a structure that adapts to uneven surfaces, maintains conductivity under vibration, and delivers repeatable performance across a wide frequency range. Whether you’re sealing access panels, protecting sensitive circuits, or managing EMI/RFI in harsh environments, TechMESH provides the mechanical resilience and electrical reliability today’s designs require.
Below are the core configurations available in the TechMESH family, each engineered to support different enclosure requirements and operating conditions.
Share a few details about your design and our engineering team will recommend the appropriate TechMESH solution — including material selection, compression targets, and expected shielding performance for your enclosure or interface.
TechMESH is engineered from interlocking metal loops that form a flexible, three-dimensional knitted structure. When compressed between mating surfaces, these loops behave like miniature springs — deflecting smoothly, distributing force evenly, and returning to their original shape once pressure is released. This spring-like behavior is what allows TechMESH to deliver consistent mechanical performance over thousands of compression cycles.
Because each loop is in constant electrical contact with adjacent loops, the mesh forms a dense network of conductive pathways. As the material compresses, these contact points increase, creating a tighter, more continuous shielding barrier. This allows TechMESH to maintain electrical conductivity even when installed in housings that experience vibration, impact, or structural flex.
Unlike rigid metal gaskets, the knitted-wire structure adapts naturally to irregular or uneven interface surfaces. It fills micro-gaps, conforms to slight misalignments, and compensates for manufacturing variances in enclosure hardware. This flexibility also enables effective EMI/RFI attenuation across a wide range of frequencies, especially in environments where surfaces may shift over time due to thermal cycling or mechanical stress
