UD Contact Gasket for EMI Shielding and Grounding
UD Contact gaskets are designed to provide reliable electrical grounding and EMI shielding in high-frequency applications. Manufactured from high-performance beryllium copper, these contacts offer excellent conductivity, spring performance, and long service life. As a result, they are widely used in electronic enclosures, shielded cabinets, and circuit card assemblies.
Unlike standard grounding contacts, UD Contact gaskets create a consistent conductive path between mating surfaces. Therefore, they help reduce electromagnetic interference while supporting effective enclosure shielding. In addition, their flexible design allows engineers to address a wide range of grounding and shielding requirements.
UD Contacts are available in various lengths, widths, and profiles to meet different application needs. Furthermore, standard factory lengths are available for convenient installation. Individual contacts can also be supplied in tape-and-reel packaging for automated assembly processes.
Finally, optional adhesive backing is available for applications that require simplified installation. Consequently, UD Contact gaskets provide a dependable solution for both grounding and EMI shielding requirements.
