CPG Clip-On Fingerstock Gasket
The CPG Clip-On Fingerstock Gasket is an electrical grounding solution designed to create reliable conductive paths between printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic cards, and backplane assemblies. Manufactured from high-performance beryllium copper, it provides excellent conductivity, spring resilience, and long service life. As a result, it is well suited for demanding electronic applications.
Unlike traditional EMI shielding fingerstock, the CPG series functions primarily as a perpendicular grounding strip. Its finger extension design helps maintain consistent electrical contact between circuit cards and surrounding chassis structures. Therefore, it supports dependable grounding performance throughout the system.
In addition, the wide clip-on attachment area with D-lance retention provides secure mounting and reliable electrical continuity. Furthermore, the gasket performs well in environments exposed to vibration, thermal cycling, and repeated service access.
Common applications include telecommunications equipment, military electronics, industrial controls, computing hardware, networking equipment, and PCB assemblies. Finally, the CPG series is available in custom lengths and multiple plating options to meet specific grounding and mechanical requirements.
