Slot-Lok™ Shields for Flexible EMI/RFI Protection
Leader Tech’s Slot-Lok™ Shields provide flexible EMI/RFI protection for PCB applications that need more design freedom than a standard shield configuration. Using a proprietary manufacturing process, Slot-Lok™ Shields are designed to reduce lead time, lower tooling costs, and support near-custom shielding requirements without the delays typically associated with fully custom board-level shields.
Slot-Lok™ Shields are available for a wide range of board layouts, component heights, mounting requirements, and shielding challenges. Options include square, rectangular, odd-shaped, low-profile, multi-cavity, form-down, and welded configurations to support both prototype and production environments.
Each Slot-Lok™ Shield can be configured with features such as through-hole or surface mount mounting, locking and grounding dimples, ventilation holes, pull tabs, custom access holes, notches, finish plating options, and removable covers for component access. For applications with strict height limitations, Low Profile Slot-Lok™ options provide reliable board-level shielding in designs under .150 inches high.

Specifically, it provides reliable board-level shielding while meeting height requirements of less than .150”. In addition, this compact design maintains all the flexibility and benefits of the standard Slot-Lok™ series. As a result, engineers can achieve high performance without increasing product size. Built with performance in mind, these shields use RoHS-compliant materials.
